EV8 is very comprehensive. It will change the way you approach GIS. If you are a professional, you will see this right away, but as for any profession, you will have to learn new things, and abandon the old. You must make an effort to do so, which means you will need to read the support documents in the Help section.
Important. You must have ArcMap/ArcGIS on your computer in order to run EV8. Do not purchase EV8 otherwise.
The download is a zip file, EV8Install.zip, from which you extract the installation file, EV8FullInstall.exe which you run.This will auto install EV8 into your ArcGIS extension list. Important. EV8FullInstall.exe will self install EV8. You DO NOT run the Customise function in ArcMap to install EV8. If you are running Vista which apparently has dropped the standard Windows Help (WinHlp32.exe)

You are importing EV8 from Canada and the price is FOB Vancouver, B.C.
We do not collect taxes or duty outside Canada.

You will not see EV8 when you first open up a new ArcMap. You must go to the ArcMap extensions function to start it. Once loaded you hit the ? icon on the right of the EV8 tool bar to call up the WinHelp. The help includes the complete EV8 Manual plus other information. You are strongly advised to read at least the basics and some of the Tips.
